I'm satisfied when my paintings feel loose and free. When I disrupted the smoothness of the gentle surface of String Theory, I trusted my instincts to draw on the work with bold sweeping lines. I'm elated that the chaotic randomness of my lines created a sense of harmony. Those vibrating energy lines gravitate towards one another, even while they extend out into the negative space.
